Anthony J. Reid CPA, CA is a seasoned accounting advisor to entrepreneurs and Municipal governments with more than 30 years of experience helping business owners and governance navigate complex financial decisions. His career is defined by a commitment to elevating the role of the accountant—moving beyond compliance to provide clarity, insight, and forward-thinking guidance. Anthony is a founding partner of Adeptus Advisory Group Chartered Professional Accountants Inc.

 

Anthony’s professional journey spans public practice and private firm ownership. After earning his Masters of Accounting from the University of Manitoba and obtaining his CA designation in 1999, he spent five years with a national accounting firm in Audit & Assurance and Tax, including time in their Brandon office.

 

Anthony later returned to Winnipeg and has spent the last twenty-five years growing our practice. This work has given him deep, firsthand insight into the evolving and increasingly sophisticated needs of today’s entrepreneurs and government municipal entities.

 

Anthony works closely with clients through growth, transition, and increasingly complex financial environments. His experience has reinforced the accountant’s role as a trusted advisor—supporting not only compliance but also strategic and operational decision-making.

 

Outside the office, Anthony enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and exploring new activities. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Commissionaires of Manitoba.
